BREAKING POLITICAL NEWS: Ormond Beach's Fred Costello to run for Congress

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Fred Costello is running for the 6th Congressional seat in the mid-term elections this year with incumbent Ron DeSantis' expected candidacy for governor.

Costello, 67, a former state representative who also was mayor of Ormond Beach, will formally launch his campaign for Congress during a series of events this Saturday, beginning in Rockefeller Park at the Casements in Ormond Beach. Additional campaign launch rallies are planned the same day at Heroes Memorial Park in Palm Coast, Faver-Dykes State Park in St. Johns County, Deltona Veterans Memorial Park and the Historic Railroad Museum in Mount Dora.
