Culligan was reacting to Councilman Joshus Wagner's criticism of Northey for the mailer on County Council at-large incumbent Joyce Cusack (shown here in the middle). Culligan's reference to 'Fast Freddy' is Fred Lowry, candidate for the district 5 seat Northey now holds, but is term-limited in, which is why she's challenging Cusack. Lowry is battling fellow candidate Rich Gailey of DeBary, who won the August primary:

Volusia County's most outrageous political viper, Pat "Free Money" Northey, has the nerve to sling mud with her record of wallowing in suspicious campaign contributions.

Look at all those campaign contributions Patty Cakes and her son, "Fast Freddy" Lowry have been getting from; corporations that do big money business with Volusia County -- huge checks.

Why are certain Volusia County corporations attempting to purchase seats for Northey and Fast Freddy?

Why don't they just have an internal county seat auction and totally circumvent the democratic process?

Anyway,  Pat and Fast Freddy are trying to get the focus off of all that money going their way from DAYTONA.

Pat and FF are supposed to represent district 5 -- not Daytona millionaires and billionaire corporations. Hello! Hello! Anyone home?
