DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The weather looks promising for the week in Daytona and throughout East Central Florida with lots of sunshine and daytime temperatures in the low 80s, according to the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 81, and a North-northeast wind of around 10 mph. For tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 63, and a North northeast wind of around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 82, and a calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the morning. Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63, along with an east wind of around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers after noon. Then Sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. South southwest wind around 5 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 82, along with a northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
