ENDORSEMENTS: Gov. Rick Scott easy pick for GOP primary

Rick Scott should easily win today's GOP primary over two relative unknowns in Elizabeth Cuevas-Neunder of Sarasota and Yinka Abosede Adeshina of Tallahassee.

And should he prevail, Scott will go up against former Gov. Charlie Crist, who is expected to easily outpoll Nan Rich in the Democratic primary.

The only burning question remains whether Scott or Crist gets the higher percentage win in their respective party primaries. The bet here is for Scott since Rich at least has some name recognition.

The primaries are closed to those outside the respective parties, meaning only Democrats can vote in the Crist-Rich primary and only Republicans can vote ion the Scott-Cuevas-Neunder-Adeshina primary.

Neither Cuevas-Neunder nor Adeshina, a pharmacist by trade, have held any major political offices.
