Jamie Haynes is a long-time resident of DeBary, a Volusia County Schools educator with 31 years’ experience of providing instruction and service to the students, teachers, staff, and parents. She's also a single mom of two grown children and "Nana" to an adorable grandson.

Haynes graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Mathematics. She moved to Volusia County to teach after receiving her degree. She earned her Master of Science from Nova University.

Haynes has 30-plus years of teaching experience at both the elementary and secondary levels.
