SANFORD, Fla. -- Sera King is the new associate publisher of Headline Surfer, having previously served as the multimedia editor of the award-winning 24/7 internet news outlet since its inception in April 2008.
King received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ana G. Mendez University in Orlando in 2008, with a 3.84 GPA.
Countless still photo images and several thousand news videos in East Central Florida, from tourism-driven street festivals to high school football games and scenic beach scenes, have been shot over the years by King. She has created several editorial cartoons and has on occasion written news stories. King will continue with these functions as needed, but her new duties will shift more to the business end of the online news outlet.
