The Volusia County Canvassing Board will meet on November 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm to process provisional ballots cast in the General Election held on November 6, 2018. In the event there is a need for a machine recount in the Edgewater City Council District 1 race and in the Volusia County Council District 1 race; the recount will begin at 9:00 am on Friday, November 9, 2018. The recount will take place at the Department of Elections, Historic Courthouse, 125 W. New York Avenue, in DeLand.
If the machine recount indicates that a manual recount is required, the manual recount will begin immediately following the machine recount.
If a recount is ordered for the State Representative District 26 race; it may be conducted immediately following the above mentioned recount(s); or as soon as possible.
Recounts will continue each day as needed, until complete.
