WINTER PARK, Fla -- The band director at Winter Park High School, accused of possessing a pornographic video in which he allegedly had sex with an underage teenage boy, has bonded out of the Orange County jail, authorities said.

Here is a synopsis of what occurred as described by Winter Park police in an arrest affidavit: Christopher Michael Blackmer, 47, was arrested Friday, accused of having sex with a Colonial High School student as depicted in a 2014 video. The victim was under the age of 18 at the time. The investigation leading to charges against blackmer was prompted by an anonymous tip in January.

Winter Park police charged Blackmer with possession of child pornography, a third degree felony, after a video was discovered on Blackmer’s confiscated phone showing him and a boy, between the ages of 16 and 17, engaged in a sexual act.

The video, shot five years ago and 39 minutes long, shows Blackmer engaging in sex with the victim, who was a student at Colonial High School at the time, according to the arrest affidavit.

Blackmer, band director at Winter Park High School for six years, has been placed on administrative leave by Orange County Public School officials.
