EDGEWATER -- The New Smyrna Beach High School swim team has lost its pool at the Aqua Park Aquatic Center and as a result may fold, according to a story by WESH-TV in Orlando.
"The economy really hurt us a lot, and the fact that there's another pool about a quarter mile away, it's a (YMCA) pool, two pools in this area is really hard to compete with," Stearns, owner of Aqua Park Aquatic Center and also the Barracudas' swim-team coach," told WESH.
