DELTONA -- The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a mother and her two children who are considered missing and endangered under suspicious circumstances stemming from a domestic violence situation in Lake Mary involving her husband who has since been apprehended and jailed in Daytona Beach.
"A family member called the Sheriff's Office Wednesday morning and asked for deputies to conduct a well being check on 28-year-old Yessenia Suarez at 317 Covent Gardens Place, Deltona," agency spokesman Brandon Haught told Headline Surfer. Suarez had been the victim of domestic violence in Lake Mary on Tuesday but the suspect, her husband, Luis Toledo, 31, had fled before Lake Mary police officers had arrived on scene.

Information on that domestic situation was not released.
When Volusia Sheriff's deputies responded to the Deltona address to conduct the well being check Wednesday, Suarez and her children were not there. But Toledo did arrive at the house a short time later and he was subsequently arrested based on Lake Mary Police Department's battery charge from the previous day.
The children are the mother's from a prior relationship.
Yessenia Suarez, who is Hispanic, is 5 feet 3 and 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Her children are 8-year-old Michael Otto and 9-year-old Thalia Otto.
Anyone with information about Suarez or her children is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (386) 736-5999 or dial 9-1-1 if there is an emergency.
