Headline Surfer® celebrating 5th anniversary by recognizing outstanding individuals
DAYTONA BEACH -- Bike Week starts Friday and what better way to introduce the nation's largest motorcycle rally than recognizing Michael Politis, selected as one of the Headline Surfer® recipients of a lifetime achievement award for service to greater Daytona Beach for his motorcycle safety advocacy and biker rights.
The special recognition coincides with the award-winning 24/7 internet newspaper's fifth anniversary celebration. Politis, a prominent attorney with the law fiorm of Politis and Matovina, is among the leading motorcycle safety advocates in Central Florida and beyond with his public safety campaigns for bikers, who all too often, are invisible to motorists until it's too late.

Bike Week itself is a misnomer as it's actually a full 10-day run drawing upwards of half a million bikers from all over the country, though in the last half decade to so those numbers have appeared somewhat inflated.
Regardless, there are a heck of a lot of motorcycles here in greater Daytona Beach over the next 10 years so please watch out for them and share the road. Michael Politics will be thankful and so will we.
