OAK HILL, Fla. -- In tiny Oak Hill, where there are less employees than the fingers on one hand, Jeany Gonzalez has quietly gone about her tasks as an administrative assistant at City Hall. But after a decade on the job, Gonzalez, has called it a day for good.
Gonzalez's departure at day's end on a sunny Wednesday, leaves three full-times and one part-timer, said Kohn Evans, the city administrator. Knowing Gonzalez had planned on retiring, the city in a cost-saving measure, recently brought on Mandy Osweiler, as the part-timer, at 25-30 hours a week, which is provided for in Oak Hill's current $1.1 million operating budget.

Gonzaelez was stoic about leaving, saying she enjoyed the 10 years she spent working for the city, but is now "looking forward to the next chapter in my life."
