The man's identity was being withheld until nearest relatives are contacted. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Trooper S. Montiero.

In front of him was a motorist, Velez Lesandro,46, of Orlando, in a 2016 Nissan van, who was traveling west on I-4 several car lengths in front of the motorcyclist when the rear of the van was suddenly struck by the bike. The motorcyclist swerved to the left and then struck the guardrail, causing fatal injuries.
