DELTONA, Fla. -- Are you thinking about returning to school? Bonnie Thurman Bonnie Thurman will describe Daytona State College’s Fresh Start Program at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at the Deltona Regional Library, 2150 Eustace Ave.

Fresh Start is a free, six-week class that assists women and men 18 and older who are in transition and want to return to school. The program provides support and encouragement while offering practical tools to achieve academic goals.

Participants learn to build self-confidence, set educational priorities, explore financial aid opportunities, discover scholarship options, and prepare for a new beginning. They are also introduced to the career and technical programs offered at Daytona State College.
