ORLANDO, Fla. -- A new study says Florida is the nation’s second most fun state behind only California. And in terms of cities, Les Vegas is tops followed by Orlando.
New York, Washington and Colorado round out the top 5 states for fun. Just outside the top 5 is Nevada at 6th best.
When it comes to cities with the most fun, Las Vegas and Orlando, first and second respectively, are followed by New York City, Atlanta and Miami. So what is the winning fourmula for the top states? Sunshine and ocean shorelines. Obviously every state has sunshine, but there are only a limited number of states with an ocean shoreline as well. And by sunshine, one has to factor in the sun's warmth year-round, which explains why Califotrnia and Flortida are in the top 2.
