DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The rallying call from Daytona Beach cops was direct and to the point: "Please help us find Steven U. Booth."
So who is he?
Booth was described as a handicapped 49-year-old man who lives in the Pelican Bay area, who has not been seen or heard from seen since Sunday afternoon. He's 5 feet 10 and weighs 10, weighs around 210 pounds last seen wearing a T-shirt and khaki shorts.
DBPD's social media plea seeking the public's help in finding him drew nearly 400 shares on the cop shop's Facebook page with two dozen posts offering prayers or echoing the plea for his safe return. With so many people on social media in this COVID-19 world, the police certainly were harnessing as many eyes and ears as possible in finding this special man.
