DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Congressman Michael Waltz, a combat-decorated veteran, former White House and Pentagon advisor, and small business owner, has proven himself a strong, compassionate and effective representative to his constituents in Florida's 6th congressional district since his election in 2018.
Two years have come and gone since and the time id at hand to send Waltz back to Congress on Nov. 4 with his re-election. Woith that said, it's obvious, and strongly stated that Michael Waltz is the Headline Surfer endorsed candidate for Congress on Tuesday.
Waltz ran to succeed incumbent Republican Ron DeSantis, who opted instead to run for governor and winning. Waltz won, too, easily defeating Democrat Nancy Soderberg, with 187,191 or 56.13 percent to 145,758 votes or 43.69 percent of the total.
This time around, Waltz is being challenged by three wannabes: Democrat Clint Curtis, Democrat write-in Alan Grayson, and Independent write-in John G. Nolan. And Waltz should have an easier time with multiple Dems vying for votes.
None of Waltz's challengers comes close to the incumbent's service to country: A US Army National Guard Special Forces officer, Waltz is a veteran of the War in Afghanistan and is the first Green Beret ever elected to the United States Congress.

Bush Administration, was co-founder and partner at Askari Associates, LLC, and was president of Metis Solutions.
Waltz authored a book on his wartime experiences: Warrior Diplomat: A Green Beret's Battles from Washington to Afghanistan.
Waltz is based in St. Augustine and his district includes greater Daytona Beach.
