ORLANDO, Fla. -- Simone Bilews has withdrawn from the team competition, US Gymnastyics officials just announced from Tokyo in a tweet.

"Simone Biles has withdrawn from the team final competition due to a medical issue. She will be assessed daily to determine medical clearance for future competitions."

The tweet ends with "Thinking of you, Simone!"
