Mary Jane's reprimand of shame not cleansed in house of worship

Mary Jane Henderson stood at the front of Central Baptist Church in Daytona on Sunday afternoon, of all days, and waxed poetic about how wonderful her 19-year career on the bench has been,  laughing off her own daily tardiness as a mirror-image of her Alabama country doctor father and how, and most of all,  loving a husband she has in Clay Henderson. Mercifully for those really in the know, her time at the "pulpit" was mercifully limited to three minutes.

Primary election theme: 'Throw the bums out'

With today's primary election now in full swing, the main theme we keep hearing is that this is the year of the ant-incumbentr, or put into simpler terms:"Throw the bums out" or if you prefer, "toss the bums out." Whatever phrase you choose, there are a few candidates who represent change and those who have worn out their welcome.

County Judge Mary Jane Henderson, publicly reprimanded by the Florida Supreme Court for her dealings with a criminal now in prison, fits the bill for either being thrown out or tossed.

Council Council District 3 fields has seven candidates, all worthy of consideration, but George Trovato. NSBNEWS.net would support any of the front runners in Joie Alexander, Ellen Darden and Deborah Denys. Roger Gray, Bill Benedict and John D'Hondt could be considered second tier candidates because they lack political experience, although they are caring and responsible people. George Trovato stands sits alone at the bottom of the barrel.
