DELAND, Fla. -- The Fourth of July is perhaps the most famous and important date in the history of the United States -- for  it was on July 4, 1776 that the Declaration of Independence was signed by our forefathers: A moment in time where it was declared that “we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
