Deputies & citizens respond to deadly plane crash site in DeLand

BREAKING NEWS BULLETIN: Thia is a quick alert on the fiery crash Sunday of a Cessa plane that in the woods off of State Road 44 in DeLand. A complete story is in the works. Headline Surfer is noticeably late with this important multimedia story because the PIOs under the supervision of Sheriff Mike Chitwood ignored the online news outlet's request for the raw video of the crash site and a series of 9-1-1 calls that were provided in a timely manner to all the Central Florida media outlets that report news in East Central Florida.

Headline Surfer endeavored to post a basic video for now as it continues to work on a more comprehensive news report later today. Headline Surfer has put the county on notice that it intends to seek intervention from a state judge within the next 24-48 hours and then a formal hearing before a federal magistrate in US District Court in Orlando. Monday, in fact marked1,000 consecutive days since the award-winning media outlet was banned from Chitwood's very first press conference the day he was sworn into office - Jan. 3, 207, and subsequently learned it had been cut off from the Sheriff's email media alerts for breaking news.

Volusia County's elected leaders and senior county government administrators have done nothing to stand up to Chitwood's trampling of this media outlet's efforts to report the news.
