The Senate on Monday confirmed Steven Mnuchin as treasury secretary in the Trump Administration.
confirming him over Democratic opposition by a vote of 53 to 47.
Mnuchin, an investor and Goldman Sachs alum who served as the Trump campaign's finance chairman during election season, was warmly received by Republicans after Trump tapped him to head the Treasury Department in November, US News & World Report said.
