Well spring is gone and summer-like temperatures and winds are interfering with many types of fishing. 

Offshore most boats were encountering dolphin – some several relatively large. Generally they were found outside the 28 Fathom curve on out to 240 feet in the clearer water.

Deltona man killed in three-wheel kit motorcycle accident

DELTONA -- A 25-year-old man was killed late Tuesday afternoon after he lost control of a three-wheel kit motorcycle in Deltona, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office reported.

The bike, which has an open-air vehicle cabin built onto the motorcycle chassis, flipped while turning onto Pilgrim Avenue from Normandy Boulevard and ended up in a residential driveway, Sheriff's spokesman Gary Davidson said.

I am compelled, three times now within the past few months, to put pen to paper once again, to the recognition of sorrow in death. Yes, it is a big part of our lives and not really something we want to dwell on.
 
Yet, in remembrance, I cannot just ride off as said by others! I either have to place the importance of its meaning, and its outcome, personal or not, is a fate we all have to abide.

Republicans need to take care of their incumbents across Florida, including Congressman Tom Feeney, whose district includes Southeast Volusia, a party executive told the Southeast Volusia Republican Club at its April luncheon at the New Smyrna Yacht Club.

Deltona man dies in motorcylce crash

DELTONA -- A 23-year-old city man was killed Saturday when he lost cotrol of his motorcycle while speeding and struck his head on a fence post, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office reported. He was not wearing a helmet.
 
Steven L. Cruz was driving his 2007 Suzuki 600 eastbound on
Eustis Avenue "at a high rate of speed," according to a Sheriff's report.
 

Deltona man charged with atacking 14-year-old girl

DELTONA -- A 19-year-old man was charged Wednesday with attempted sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl with a knife near the Deltona Library, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office reported.

A passerby frightened off the attacker after she screamed for help, a sheriff's spokesman said.
