YouTube download / AP video / (11 Nov 2018) The recounting of Senate and gubernatorial ballots is underway in Florida's second most-populous county after it fixed problems with its machines.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Amid continuing partisan political rancor from both sides, the court-mandated recounting of ballots for US senator and Florida governor was well underway Sunday in Broward County and across the Sunshine State.  

The recount of 700,000 votes in Broward, the second most populous of Florida's 64 counties, was delayed for three hours early on early on because a machine wasn’t registering all ballots when it was tested. GOP party observers on hand insisted all the machines and that task was carried out in earnest.

DELAND, Fla. -- While the controversy of ballot recounts in Broward and Palm Beach counties continued to dominate the major cable news networks CNN, MSNBC and Fox News on Saturday, closer to home here in Volusia County a new voting controversy started to emerge as the evening wore on.
