Ruth Collins Vlasin, 85, of Oak Hill, a lifelong resident and New Smyrna Beach native survived by her husband of 63 years, Bernard, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009.

Janet Schofield, 72, of New Smyrna Beach and Holly Springs, NC and formerly of Titusville, who devote her life to her family and her husband of 52 years, James, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009.

Elizabeth M. Scheid, 90, of New Smyrna Beach, a homemaker, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009.

Victor E. Rosa, 88, of Edgewater, a member of the Christian Church of Edgewater where he enjoyed
delivering communion to shut in's and numerous other church ministries, and survived by five children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009.

Shirley Rose Roberts, 79, of Edgewater, a retired registered nurse and a former Nursing Director for the Volusia County Health Department, who is survived by her husband, Norman, three children and thnree grandchildren, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009.

Sept. 5, 2009: Edward W. Clemens, Holly Hill, and Janice L. Lamb, New Smyrna Beach.

Estelle E. Luneau, 94, of New Smyrna Beach, a native of New Hampshire and a snowbird for 36 years before moving here in 2000, widowed with two surviving sons, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009.

Earl Sutton, 70, of Oak Hill, a retired tractor driver, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009.

Martin F. Fitzgerald, 69, of New Smyrna Beach, a former accountant, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009.

Robert Milk, 83, of Edgewater, a native of Braintree, Mass., died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009.

Marcia S. Banks, 86, Edgewater, a homemaker, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009.

Bobby D. Sanderson, 75, of New Smyrna Beach, a retired engineer of 35 years and married for 54 years to his wife June, died Thursday, August 20, 2009.

Audrey B. Bowen, 85, of New Smyrna Beach and Osteen, a bus driver for Seminole County School District for 15 years before her retirement, who enjoyed spending time with her dog "Little Jon," died Tuesday, August 25, 2009.

James George Knighton, 41, of New Smyrna Beach, who owned and operated Knighton Air Care, Inc. of New Smyrna Beach for 11 years and loved spending time with his boys and his wife of 15 years, Kathleen, died Sunday, August 23, 2009.

Emma A.Morin, 78, who recently celebrated her 59th wedding anniversary with her spouse, Marcel G. Morin, died Sunday, August 23, 2009.

Malinda Jane Bledsoe, 54, of Edgewater, a Volusia County native married with three children, died Thursday, Aug 13, 2009.

Jimmie "Woodie" Woodfin, 75, of Edgewater, a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and an avid fisherman, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009.

Robert N. Culley, 55, of New Smyrna Beach, who worked at Outback Steakhouse, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009.
