DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Democrat Joe Biden's selection of Kamala Harris as his vice presidential running mate has drawn predictable responses along party lines here in Central Florida and beyond.

Lawyers are suing the Key West police and school district over their arrest of an 8-year-old boy who allegedly punched a teacher. Police video shows officers trying to handcuff the boy on a felony battery charge.
