President Trump reacts to school shooting in Texas: 'Very sad day'
President Donald Trump from the White House called a deadly shooting at a Texas high school Friday a "horrific attack." On his first public remarks on the school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas, resulting in 10 deaths and 13 injuries by a student armed with a shotgun and homemade explosives later taken into custody, Trump said mass shootings have been "going on too long in our country."
"We grieve for the terrible loss of life and send our support to everyone affected by this absolutely horrific attack," Trump said. Trump this afternoon ordered flags at half-staff in memory of the victims "of the terrible act of violence."
