PORT ORANGE -- A man and a woman have been charged with breaking into at least 30 vehicles in the city and police here have put out an alert to other area cop shops that might have similar unsolved incidents.

DAYTONA BEACH – With the clock ticking on the life span of the Orange Avenue draw bridge in Daytona Beach, the Volusia County Council earlier today unanimously approved plans to replace it with a  high-rise fixed bridge, replacing the aging structure that’s been servicing traffic since 1954.
