DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Thunderstorms have arrived in Central Florida and will continue overnight, possibly with heavy rainfall.
Headline Surfer® graphic / WINTER GARDEN -- Orange County Sheriff's deputies are investigating what may have caused the death of a 9-month-old baby found unresponsive Saturday when they responded to a 9-1-1 call at the Lake Tiki Village resort six miles away from Walt Disney World.
The unidentified child died shortly after transport to a local hospital after deputies responded to to emergency call at 9:10 a.m. at the resort spread across 64 acres on US 192 -- a 10-minute commute from Disney. It's a family setting with paddle boats, barbecue grills, tennis courts, and a playground. And the victim's family was visiting here from Louisiana when the incident occurred.
