Recording artist & actress Jordin Sparks to sing national anthem for 59th Daytona 500

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Multi-platinum recording artist and actress Jordin Sparks, whose faith-based film "God Bless The Broken Road" will be in theaters early 2017, will perform the National Anthem for the 59th annual Daytona 500 on Feb. 26 at Daytona International Speedway.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- A 25-year-old black man was stabbed in the collarbone in a robbery attempt under the cover of darkness, New Smyrna Beach cops said.

Tousauntt Knese was transported to Halifax Hospital, via EVAC, as a trauma alert. However, it was later learned that his injuries were non-life threatening.
