DAYTONA BEACH -- There were three-motorcycle-related deaths during Bike Week 2011, which ended today.

There were seven biker-related deaths last year. Still, the 10 fatalities collectively from the last two Bike week pale in comparison to the carnage of 2006, when there were 19 deaths.

ORMOND BEACH -- A man walked into the RBC Bank on East Granada Boulevard at 2:30 this afternoon and handed the teller demanding cash. The robber never showed or implied he had a gun and then fled after he was handed an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

ORMOND BEACH -- The skull and other remains discovered Sunday near the Ormond Business Park are those of a woman believed to have been the ages of 20 and 45, Ormond Beach police said today after receiving the results of an autopsy from the Volusia coroner's office conducted earlier in the morning.

The cause of death is unknown and is being treated as a suspicious death.

ORMOND BEACH -- Police were called Sunday afternoon after a group of people who were operating all terrain four-wheelers in a dried up canal bed saw what appeared to be a human skull protruding from the mud.
